Message From the President

Welcome to the California Association of Superior Court Investigators (CASCI). For more than four decades, CASCI has existed for one purpose: to strengthen, support, and elevate the work of Probate Court Investigators across California.

What makes our association unique is simple—CASCI is for Court Investigators, created by Court Investigators, and powered by Court Investigators. Everything we do is shaped by people who understand this work from the inside: the complexity, the responsibility, and the profound impact we have on the lives of children, vulnerable adults, and families across the state.

As the needs of our courts continue to evolve, so do the needs of our profession. CASCI is committed to advancing our practice through:

  • High-quality statewide conferences and regional trainings
  • Curriculum and standards development that reflect real investigative needs
  • A growing network of colleagues who share tools, solutions, and expertise
  • Professional development opportunities for new and experienced investigators

But the strength of this association depends on the strength of its members. CASCI is calling on investigators from every county—those with talents in training development, curriculum design, facilitation, event planning, content creation, administration, communication, and community-building—to join us in shaping the future of our profession.

Whether you are new to the field or a seasoned investigator, your experience matters. Your perspective matters. And your contribution can directly influence how investigators statewide are trained, supported, and connected.

CASCI exists to serve you—and we succeed when you help shape the work.

Thank you for the dedication you bring to this vital profession. We look forward to growing, learning, and leading together.
